This site, mod.streff.tv, is the mod view for Streff, a streaming app made by Tefflabs. A streamer who uses Streff Pro can let their Twitch moderators watch the stream here and use some of Streff's controls. This page says what happens to your information when you use it. Streamers: the full policy for the app is in Streff, under Settings → About.
Signing in
You sign in with a free Streff account on streff.tv, where you add your Twitch account (or several). streff.tv keeps a read-only Twitch permission to list the channels you moderate — it can't post, moderate, follow or change anything as you — encrypted, until you remove that Twitch account there. When you open a mod view, streff.tv hands this site a short-lived signed pass saying who you are on Twitch (id, username, display name, profile picture) and which channels you moderate. No Twitch sign-in of yours is kept on this site.
This site keeps those details for up to 7 days unused, 30 at most, or until you sign out. Whether you can open a channel's mod view is checked against the streamer's own list of their Twitch moderators, which their Streff sends every 10 minutes.
What the page shows, and what passes through us
The stream and chat on the page are Twitch's own player and chat, so Twitch's terms and privacy notice apply to them, and anything you type in chat goes to Twitch, not to us.
The Streff controls around them show what the streamer's Streff sends while the streamer has the mod view on: things like the alert queue, music and song requests, the wheel, goals, polls, predictions and messages held by AutoMod. These can include viewers' names and, for held messages, what they wrote. We pass them straight from the streamer's Streff to the page of each moderator the streamer has let in. We don't store them.
When you use a control, the action goes back through us to the streamer's Streff. We check it against what the streamer has let you do, and so does their Streff. It appears in the streamer's Streff under your Twitch name. We don't keep a record of it.
What we keep
- Your sign-in, as above: up to 7 days unused, 30 at most, or until you sign out.
- Your own layout of the page for each channel (where you put each part, what you hid), until you ask us to delete it, or six months after you last changed it.
- Traffic counts: the network your requests come from, cut to a coarse network before it is written down (never your full address), with what was asked for and how big it was, for 14 days. We use it only to count traffic per region, to decide where to put servers; only regional totals are kept longer.
- For the streamer: which moderators they let in (Twitch ids and names) and what each may do, so every action can be checked — deleted 90 days after the streamer's Streff last connected.
Channel pictures and whether a channel is live are looked up on Twitch's public directory by this site (not as you) and held in memory for up to an hour. Category searches you make on the page are sent to Twitch the same way.

- Twitch — the player, chat, pictures and category search.
- streff.tv — your Streff account and signing in.
- YouTube's image servers — song artwork, loaded by your browser.
There are no adverts or trackers on this site, and nothing is sold or shared for marketing.
Your choices
Sign out at any time from the top of the page; that deletes your sign-in from this site. Remove a Twitch account (and its read-only permission) on streff.tv under Account → Twitch accounts, or remove Streff's access under Settings → Connections on twitch.tv. To have your page layouts deleted, or to ask what we hold about you, email support@streff.tv.
The site is for Twitch users, who must be at least 13.
